Every patio starts with a design. We study your home’s architecture, the slope of your yard, how water moves across the property, and how you actually want to use the space. Then we take the plan from a 2D layout to a 3D rendering, so you can see the size, shape, pavers, and borders before a single stone goes down.

Built From the Base Up

The part of a patio you never see decides how long it lasts. North Georgia’s clay soils hold water and shift, so we excavate properly, grade for drainage, and install 5 inches or more of base material, compacting each layer so it can handle weight, traffic, and weather. Edge restraints keep the pavers locked in place and the lines crisp.

Paver Patio FAQs

  • Every patio is custom, so cost depends on size, site preparation, grading, paver selection, and added features. We provide a detailed proposal after your design consultation.

  • Patios are among our faster projects. The timeline depends on size, access, and how much grading the site needs, and we give you a schedule with your proposal.

  • Pavers are made up of individual units, so they flex with the ground instead of cracking the way a solid slab can, and a damaged section can be lifted and replaced. They also offer far more design options in color, texture, and pattern.

  • Very little. Occasional cleaning and topping up the joint sand keeps them looking sharp. Sealing is optional and can enhance color and resist stains.

  • We do both. Our design-build process covers everything from the first consultation and 3D design through construction.
